Line Rider 2: Unbound is video game version of Line Rider, an internet physics toy.
On December 19 2006, it was announced that InXile Entertainment had gained console rights for Line Rider, legally restricting copies and imitations of the game. In fact, InXile Entertainment is currently threatening legal action against content providers who host versions of the original game. Nintendo DS and Wii versions were released in Fall 2008, containing new features.[1]
It has also been stated that a story mode featuring new characters Bailey and Chaz will be in the game for DS, PC and Wii. In the story mode the player will compete against Chaz in hopes of winning the ultimate sled and the love of Bailey. This mode will span 40 courses, all of which were designed by TechDawg, a well known track designer. You can also download other people's tracks off of the internet from the game's website.[2] The European version was published by Koch Media.
Voice Actors starring Tom Kenny (as Bosh), Tara Strong (as Bailey) and Fred Tatasciore (as Chaz) in the cutscenes and credits.
It has been nominated for two Nintendo DS-specific awards in IGN's 2008 Game of the Year awards, namely Best Puzzle Game[3] and Best Original Score.[4]
